So May It Be is a Dating Sim where you get to date witches.
Premise:
Being part of a coven, together with your three friends, you have the chance to get closer to one of them based on the choices you make.
First you discuss via chat your plans about attending Harvest Festival together with them, afterwards you get to choose whom to talk to privately and you can head outside for a visit.
Featurings:
The game includes choices that will affect the stats as well as, the option to interact with the girls’ belongings situated in their room. To summarize it all, the game is presented as regular Dating Sim with few cute point and click elements that also permit you to unlock Steam achievements.
Fair short story, perfect for a read during Halloween’s Eve. Nothing too eerie aside from few supernatural parts, however the story overall is pretty laid back and offers a relaxing reading experience.
Background art is well made and colorful, changing palette depending on whose place you decide to visit.
Personal considerations:
A cute game where you get to date different girls (one per gameplay) presenting diverse personalities. While not being a particular fan of the sprites’ art, I really adored the use of color palettes, as well as the room designs.
The only thing that was found to be superfluous are the plenty of choices given at the beginning of the gameplay.
Wouldn’t recommend purchasing this game at full price, as it is really short, in fact you can clear the game in 4h approximately.
Recommended if you are seeking for something entertaining during Halloween’s Eve, or simply find yourself enjoying Halloween elements.
Not recommended if looking for a Dating Sim of long duration with complicated statistics or games with significant heroines’ routes.
